For over 20 years Quinn Packaging has been servicing the packaging market with spreadable butter/dairyspread containers. Following Quinn Groups acquisition of Barlo Packaging (based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare) a decision was taken to increase the product portfolio and expand the markets as well as embrace emerging technologies that are the future of Packaging.
The decision was taken in 2005 to invest in a brand new 19,000m² state of the art packaging facility located in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, Ireland; close to the Quinn Group Headquarters. The new facility was commissioned in 2006 following an initial investment of €30 million (£20 million). The key objective of this move was to provide new facilities that are at the leading edge of manufacturing expertise, ensuring world-class standards of quality, reliability and finish.
Quinn Packaging’s range of products include; Thin Gauge Sheet, Dairyspread Containers, Meat & Poultry Trays, Blownfilm, & Strapping. These products are complimented by new and innovative decoration options, a transportation service that is award winning and an employee base that is committed and hard working.
Since the move, Quinn Packaging has gone from strength to strength – with the introduction of 24 production lines and an employee base in excess of 100 experienced members, Quinn Packaging have the facilities and knowledge to be market leaders within the Food Packaging Industry. Our team adopts a hands on approach to each project; whether it’s a once of urgent order or long running contract, a shared sense of satisfaction is had in the end product.
